Digital Events successfully held the industry forum with the theme of " Intelligent Manufacturing for the Future " on April 18, which not only provided in-depth insights into the digitalization of the manufacturing industry, but also brought together top experts in the industry to discuss the dual-wheel drive of technological innovation and industrial upgrading, as well as the synergistic evolution of technology leadership and industrial practice.
The first round of panel discussion was moderated by Mrs. LEI Xiumei, Chief Research Officer of Digital Events, who led an in-depth discussion on how technological innovation and industrial upgrading are driving the development of the manufacturing industry.
Mr. CONG Liqun, Member of Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee (affiliated to the National Manufacturing Power Strategy Advisory Committee) and Expert Member of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China,Mrs. ZHU Jialin, Head of AI Research at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (East China Branch), and Mr. WEI Aipeng, Deputy Secretary General of the Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Providers Alliance , Jiangsu Sub-Alliance, joined the dialogue to discuss the practical application of intelligent manufacturing solutions and challenges.
The experts agreed that while AI and automation may pose employment challenges, they will also create new jobs and learning opportunities. The dialogue provided strategic recommendations for the 2025 Manufacturing Digitalization Expo, highlighted the importance of communication between supply and demand market, and was optimistic about the future application of digitalization in manufacturing. They were optimistic about the future of digitalization in the manufacturing industry and encouraged industry stakeholders to adapt and use new technologies to modernize the industry.
The second session was moderated by Mrs. CHEN Fang, Director of IPSOS B2B Research Institute, and focused on the synergistic development of technology leadership and industrial practice in the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.
Mr. LU Zhijun, President of XCMG Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute (Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group), shared XCMG's in-depth exploration in the field of intelligent manufacturing, including cooperation cases with Baosteel and Dassault Systems, as well as practices in supply chain optimization and process simulation.
Mr. LI Weichong, CEO of Guangzhou Ligong Industrial Co., Ltd., presented how the company achieves fast delivery and meets customers' individual requirements through digital means.
Mr. FENG Shenghua, Director of Infrastructure Technology, Greater China, Dassault Systems, emphasized the importance of talent training in digital transformation and the need to combine industrial software with education.
Mr. ZHU Shengwei, Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing, Intel (China) Co., Ltd. discussed the importance of technology standardization and open automation, and how to drive industrial innovation through software-defined platforms.
The forum of Intelligent Manufacturing for the Future not only provided attendees with a wealth of information and insights, but also provided clear guidance on the future direction of digital transformation in manufacturing. All the forum participants expressed their expectations for the 2025 Manufacturing Digitalization Expo as a platform to promote digital transformation and hoped that it could become a window for exchange, cooperation and exhibition among enterprises.
